Forward by Dr. Payam Ghasemlou:
In the spirit of Persian Poetry, Dr. Ali has written a collection of beautiful poems in which he has honored same gender love and the heartbrake that sometimes acoompany it. His poems reflect the homoerotic Eros that has always been part of Persian literature.
A great deal of Persian Literature is based on homosexuality and a poet like Dr. Ali understands and celebrates this notion. One can find validation of gay love by reading love poems by Sadi, Hafiz, and Rumi. They have written hundreds of love poems on same gender desire. In this vein, Dr. Ali is contributing to Persian poetry.
The violent assault on gay culture in Iran and the executions of hundreds gays and lesbians in that country have faced poets like Dr. Ali with an important task of writing poetry that keeps same gender love out of the closet.
I hope you find this collection of poems supportive of gay literature as I have found them.

First poem:
Forever You
In every silent moment
When nobody is around
When no other sould is watching me
I am thinking of you
Whenever there is some joy to shre
Tears to shed
Laughter to enjoy
I am thinking of you
When there is some new mail
When someone rings at my door
A new massage in my phone
I always hope, it was from you
When I am overtly happy
Dancing drunk with loud music
Being in trance, out of this world
I wish, I were with you
